Frequently Asked Questions

1. When should I schedule my baby’s Tiny Tots Photo session?

Within the first 2 weeks after giving birth to your newborn. That is the best time period for the baby to be constantly sleeping which will allow for us to get the best pictures possible.

2. Does the session take place in the comfort of my own home?

Yes! We bring a full mobile studio to your house, which includes: lighting, backdrops, props, and more.

3.  How long will the session last?

Our newborn sessions usually take 4 hours.  This includes the setup and breakdown time of our mobile studio. Please keep in mind that your baby runs the show, so the timing of the session depends on the newborn’s sleep schedule.   The majority of poses take place when the baby is sleeping.

4. How much space will be needed?

Ideally, we work best in an area that is 13 ft X 13 ft.  The bigger the space the better, but we have been able to accommodate smaller spaces when necessary. We request that you give us accurate dimensions of your space, and when possible provide pictures so that we can better prepare our setup for your location. Please note: We will need access to electrical outlets, so choosing a location equipped with a power supply is important.

5. How do I prepare the space?

When choosing your space, it is important to try to avoid locations next to large windows or exterior facing glass doors unless the sunlight can be easily blocked for the area. Be sure the area is clean and void of any furniture that would impede the setup of our mobile studio. You will also want to turn off all lighting in the area as we do not want any additional lighting sources other than the lights we bring with us.

6. How do I prepare for your arrival?

Please keep pets and other siblings out of the shooting area.  Safety first.  We bring lamps, reflectors, and extensions cords.  If possible please have extra pacifiers, diapers, and milk available.  Please provide clear parking or access instructions.  Please keep your home at a warmer temperature.  This will help keep the baby comfortable and sleepy.  Additional preparation information will be emailed after the booking has been scheduled.

7. Do you provide everything?

Yes!  Props, bows, outfits, wraps, furs, fabrics, baskets, lighting system, reflector, floor,  posing station, backdrops, space heater, shush machine, towels, and so much more!

8. Will my baby be safe?

Yes.  We only use the basic poses.  The baby is supported by posing pillows. And as always, the parents are encouraged to assist in the session.

Preparing for Your Maternity Shoot

The goal of a maternity portrait session is to capture one part maternity and one part of the expectant couple.  During the maternity session I will first focus on the mother-to-be in a variety of poses, making sure to pay attention to the small details; the belly, the flowers, and the natural beauty curve of the expectant mother’s body.

Preparing for Your Newborn Shoot

In the measure of a lifetime, no single event will ever compare to the birth of a child. From the moment the pregnancy is announced to the moment the baby comes into the world, there have already been countless moments of planning and preparation to make sure the newborn’s arrival is a blessed and memorable event.

About Us

Arizona mobile newborn photographer

I have always had a love for photography. As a teenager, I was gifted my first camera and enrolled in the local college photography class. Photography has always been a hobby, but in 2016 I decided to enroll in a photography program and make it a career. I turned my passion into a business and couldn’t be happier. I’m patient and dedicated to capturing your session. Time is fleeting and these images will bring a smile to your face for years to come. Over the past 6 years, it has been an honor to capture life’s precious moments. It has been an amazing opportunity to meet and connect with returning families, year after year. My biggest passion for newborn photography is the artistic composition I get to create while choosing the props, decoration, and color schemes. I enjoy incorporating the parents look, style and feel into the session. This is done by carefully selecting the props and colors to fit the overall look and feel the parents had in mind.
